A Food Journey

Client: The American Museum of Natural History
Project Length: 5 Months (January 2020 - May 2020)
Role: Lead Design Consultant, Producer, UX/UI Designer, Prototype Developer
Programs/Languages: Sketch, Adobe XD, Unity 3D, Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, C#, Trello

As a part of my degree, I was able to develop a deliverable for the American Museum of Natural History.
I constructed prototypes for player flow through menus, HUD design, and methods of player feedback, in addition to taking on a producer role where I supported the production team and acted as a liaison between team members and external museum partners to keep the project running smoothly.
I wanted to create an experience for the visitors of the museum that add context to the cultural scenes that inspired the diagrams. I felt the best way to achieve this was to create an interactive cooking experience that guests could use to supplement their learning inside the cultural halls of the AMNH.

Role: Producer, UX/UI Designer, Game Designer
Programs/Languages: Unity 3D, Adobe XD, Procreate, Illustrator, Photoshop, Maya, Blender, C#, Trello, Jira

Blackthorn is my capstone project that is currently in development. I act as a Producer, Game Designer, and UI designer in a women-lead team of 5.
Our team is seeking to bring something we see a lot in TV shows and movies to videogames; a coming of age teenage mystery story centered around female perspectives. Our design challenges consist of how can we create an immersive 3D detective experience that rewards exploration, while making the narrative a critical aspect in puzzle solving.
